SWINN is a medium-sized engineering consultancy firm and has existed for 47 years. The more than 30 employees, including the three board members Jaap Westerman, Hushang Ulfati and Boris Nieuwpoort, are very involved with all our projects and clients.

Structural Design

Structural design according to SWINN is to functionally, sustainably and at the lowest costs make each architectural design possible. This vision is one of our most important principles and is interwoven in our design approach.

Integration

During the design process, we always look for integration to safeguard the optimum between all the different disciplines. After all, each building choice has consequences for the other elements. This always leads to better end results.

BIM

When we speak of integral design, it's impossible to ignore BIM. Thanks to BIM, projects are developed more simultaneously, in close collaboration with the design parties involved. This demands equality in collaboration, with respect for each other's role and tasks.
