Projectinformatie

Ipse de Bruggen’s new expertise and service building is a significant addition to the organisation’s facilities. In addition to its function as an Expertise Centre, the building also houses a restaurant, workspaces, meeting facilities and accommodation for support services.

With a gross floor area of 4,750 m² spread over two storeys, the building is characterised by its striking rounded corners and a mix of timber cladding and floor-to-ceiling windows, which lend it a warm appearance.

SWINN was responsible for the structural design and detailing of the building and supported the execution of the project. The building is designed with a concrete structure comprising in-situ cast columns and weight-saving wide-slab floors, whilst the ground floor consists of hollow-core slabs.
The building rests on an in-situ cast foundation with precast concrete piles.
